We work hard to see families restored and children raised up in truth, love, and dignity.

About Riverside
Riverside Community Church…
formerly Frankford Gospel Tabernacle, has been a faithful presence in Frankford, Ontario for over 75 years. Though we were once a small church whose future was unclear, we have become a hub for community, discipleship, and mission. This incredible shift began when Pastors Dave and Sue Andrews joined our church body to breathe new life back into our fading church. Our quaint church in this little town is a great example of God’s incredible ability to resurrect what seems dead or lost, and has continued to display the importance of perserverance, love, vision, and family.
David and Susan Andrews…
have been pastoring in Ontario for over 35 years. They carry a call to see the church become healthy and whole in body, soul and spirit. Their commitment to honouring the Holy Spirit, worshipping Jesus, and loving their church family with wisdom, sincerity, and good deeds, has created a space for all to feel welcome. They value evangelism, the leading of the Holy Spirit, children who are equipped in all aspects of their faith, and allowing all the gifts of the Body of Christ to function.

Sunday Morning

Join us on Sundays as we gather together to receive from the Lord and to give Him our worship. We desire to allow space for the Holy Spirit to move, for the gifts of the Spirit to flow, and for the Word of God to be offered and received in faith!
Kids Church is also available each Sunday on the lower level.
Church For Kids
Under Pastor Sue’s leadership, our Kids Church has been bursting at the seams as we have begun to welcome more and more children to Riverside’s growing family. We believe this is because the kid’s church leadership has a unified goal of building strong, spirit empowered, and passionate followers of Jesus in a fun and welcoming environment.
Children stay with the adults to begin each Sunday for a time of family worship! At the end of worship, the children are invited to the lower Kids Auditorium where they will enjoy interactive and truth-filled activities, teachings, and small group times.
We also have “Open Sessions” the first Sunday of each month where the kids will enjoy their own Spirit-filled worship time, a special message catered to them, and a time for prayer and response!
Cleansing Stream
Led by Pastors Dave and Sue, ‘Cleansing Stream’ is a weekly discipleship journey of discovering how to live a new creation life by learning to hear God’s voice, learning how to walk daily with him, and learning how to overcome the lies and bondages that hold us back.
We HIGHLY encourage everyone to take this course, and if you’re up to it, even twice!

Ladies Wednesday Discipleship
Led by Pastor Julia Walda
This is a weekly opportunity for ladies to gather together to enjoy connecting over coffee and a light breakfast as we grow deeper in the love of Christ and are strengthened by God’s word.
Wednesdays mornings at 10:00 – 11:30 at the church.
Wednesday Night Discipleship
Every Wednesday evening at the church we gather for a time of intentional prayer for our church, community, and nation. Following prayer, we will be working through the book of Ephesians to learn more about who we are IN CHRIST! Its been a wonderful time of revelation and hope as we learn more about our identities as new creations!
Wednesday nights from 6 – 8 at the church.

Riverside Youth
Our Youth program is focused on youth in grades 7 – 12!
Led by Kimberly Jewell, the group values building relationships between leaders and the youth, as well as between fellow youths. Kimberly’s goal is to see each teen raised up to have confidence in their faith, and to be healthy in body, mind, and soul. Youth nights consists of a wide variety of activities, including sports, games, and teaching!
Last but not least…food usually finds a place on these exciting Friday nights!

Men’s Ministry
Saturday Morning Breakfast on the 1st Saturday of each month.
Featuring guest speakers!
This is a time for the men to gather for intentional discipleship where they can learn and grow together, while also enjoying a tasty meal. The men of Riverside are an incredible testimony to the Father’s love, so don’t be shy! Come join us on the first Saturday of each month!
A Church Empowered
At Riverside Church we are passionate about the Holy Spirit and his role in the body of Christ.
During these difficult times in human history we are confident that Jesus has empowered his church for such a time as this.
We are a church body hungry for more of God and more of his Holy Spirit, and believe that every person in the church carries giftings from the Lord that we desire to experience as we encourage each other and pursue the Lord together.
We believe that in these last days, we will see a great revival that will transform the hearts of men and women and will lead to a great harvest of souls – people being told the Good News of Jesus and giving their lives wholeheartedly to Christ.
We hope that you will join us as we pursue the great commission and an intimate, Spirit-filled relationship with God!

Give In Person
We have a giving box in our welcome area. You may give there by filling out a cheque (payable to Riverside Church) and placing it in an envelope and dropping it in the slot. You may also give cash in the same fashion.
